How would you tell your family and friends? That’s a hard subject to answer because every family is different. Some people might say “Oh okay, that’s cool.” But for others it might be a problem. All I know is that if they love you, they’re going to accept you for WHO YOU ARE, not what you are. That’s all I’ve got to say, but I feel somewhat of a hypocrite because I myself am still afraid to come out to my family. My friends know and are perfectly fine with it, though my parents are super religious and…they wouldn’t understand. My big sister is gay, and out. And my dad won’t let her live with us because he says “She sleeps with girls, it’s disgusting.” I get offended, of course. And when he says it around my friends, I just tell them.. “Oh if he ONLY knew about me.” Anyway, I hope I could be of SOME help, though I know I need to take my own advice.
